Google reviews have evolved from a “nice to have” to a “must have” in just a few years.
A recent Press Ganey survey found that 59% of respondents had picked a provider in the past year based on on-line reviews. 84% of respondents would not consider a provider with fewer than 4 stars.
Before you think this only applies to Millennials and Gen Z-ers, know that searches by Baby Boomers increased 38% last year.
Even when someone receives a personal recommendation or professional referral, nearly 63% of people then check Google to learn more about a potential healthcare provider.
So ask. And ask again. Ask how you did today and if the answer is positive, ask for the review.
